Q: What is your average price per person?
A: Our costs for catering are separated into 3 sections:
menu, equipment, and service. The menu price averages $40-$60/person for appetizers + dinner. Equipment is typically $2.50-$4.00/person. Service for full-service catering averages $1200-$2000 for a 5-hour event (depending on the number of guests and type of service). For drop-off catering, there is a drop-off/set up fee of approximately $400.
Q: Do you have a staff of waiters and bartenders to serve at events?
A: For most events we cater, we provide all bartending and food service staff. For pick-up or drop-off events, we do not provide this service unless requested.
Q: What if some of my guests have allergies?
A: We can accommodate most dietary restrictions. We can either provide a separate plated meal for the guest(s) or we can provide markings at the buffet that designate which dishes are vegan, gluten-free, dairy free, etc.
Q: How do tastings work?
A: Once you are happy with your menu, we will do a tasting on that particular menu. For clients who have already signed a catering contract with us, tastings are complimentary for up to 4 guests. Additional guests (no more than 6 total) are charged a $30 fee. If a tasting is requested before signing a contract, there is a $150 fee that will be credited towards your balance if a contract is signed.
A coordinator or catering manager will be present to discuss the menu and record any changes or notes. All changes to the menu must be finalized no less than 30 days prior to the event.
